On Monday, May 11 presented publicly CampusMóvil , led by my friend Hugo Pardo.
This application Mobile Web 2.0 is the first social networking through mobile devices to the English university community, which is accessed exclusively through the email account assigned by the university to its members. This is an unofficial virtual campus, with its centered design to mobile devices. Is expected to expand in Latin America for 2010.
This new project highlights the importance and penetration of Web 2.0 tools in universities, but also clearly marks the guide path where 2.0 applications: mobile devices. Hugo has spent several years researching these devices and the result of this work is Campusmóvil.
