Geekonomía: Thinking the

My good friend Hugo Pardo has just published his new book Geekonomía. Radar to produce in the postdigitally . The book is freely available in digital format. In this regard, Hugo continues in the line that began in 2007 with successfully Planeta Web 2.0: publish in paper work at the same time allowing the discharge free of it in digital format (which I have copied Corporate Branding ).
In the various chapters of the book, Hugo reflects on the impact it is having internet in different areas: the economy, the university, academic journals, R + D + i. To me, particularly, I really like Chapter 3 ("The changing geography of the planet web 2.0"), which examines the issue of how to use different applications by the Internet and the implications this has for people, but also in the business and institutional.
What I Like of Hugo's writing is that, like Carlos Scolari, another great friend (the 2 in front of the blog digitalism ) are capable of writing relating skills, topics, approaches, etc. They can write about any aspect of internet explaining and linking it to things film, economics, advertising, cartoons or video games. In other words, are able to explain a swap from the perspective of the Bible and the water heater. I, however, if I have to explain the bazaar, as far as I go is the dictionary of the RAE.
Well, hope you enjoy the book, is an excellent job.
