Since mid January 2011 I am the new Director of MASTERDEC , an MA in strategic communication my university in Tarragona (Spain).
The MASTERDEC , officially called the "Master in Communication Policy, Institutional and Corporate Crisis and Risk," began in October 2010 and we are currently preparing the second edition, which will begin in October 2011. Until April 30 is open the 1st pre-registration period, and May 20 June 15 is the 2nd pre-registration period.
Our Master is focused on Strategic Communications Management in organizations, institutions and companies, exploring key aspects of its analysis, evaluation, diagnosis, planning and implementation. Has a schedule of intensified training and other academic enhancement, and gives the option later on to Ph.D. in Communication.
We opted for a custom model graduate, which admit only 20 to 25 students. In the first edition have accepted 20 applicants, and the 2 nd edition and we have almost 30 candidates from Spain, Australia, Germany, Argentina, Chile, Mexico, Colombia, Brazil, Peru, Venezuela, Uruguay, Russia, Georgia, Moldova, Kazjastan and several African countries , although there are still nearly 2 months to close the pre-registration period.
hope to be improving day by day and year after year the MASTERDEC to become an academic reference in the field of strategic communication.
