One woman, a dance. We started classes in August!
friends:
I hope you had a nice holiday with family and enjoyed a few days of rest. Receiving
girls these days and talking with others, many have told me that the first thing you have had to overcome the shame fitness, the mockery of some close, and a very damaging statement that says "I will not able to. " I want to tell some things about it:
1 .- The first, about what to take a physical great for dancing. It's tied to the prejudice that all oriental dancers are thin and curvy, lush breasts and very long hair. That is absolutely wrong. It is true that many professional dancers, dedicated to the show and show they fit under such work, but is far more certain that most people are ordinary dance, with body shapes too far apart on the stereotype. In fact, many Arab dance moves that look more in women of loose and plump meats, especially vibrations in a very thin. Every woman feels, yes, there are movements seem much more in your body or you do better, and it is just that, making her dance unique. No woman dances like another, because none are alike. That has more to do with personality, flirtation, dedication to the music and not the shape of the body. No one but you has your eyes, your history, your sensuality or passion for music.
2 .- The mockery of others. Some friends have told me that when they began to study, couples, friends, family, laughed saying how they would be able to dance, if they had the physical, if they had no grace, if they were not pretty, and so on. That horrible comments reflect only the fear and envy those people you have to those who do not dare. Decide to start any activity always involves a risk, but dance, have fun, enjoy the music and the body, should it be ridiculous or harmful? Never mind. Who do you say these arguments, I just want to have half of courage that you have to dare.
3 .- The phrase "I will not power." How damaging is that phrase. My students in my class know that there are three banned phrases: "I will not be able", "very difficult", "I do not get." Are prohibited, because all 3 are great lies. First, "I will not be able "---> how do I know if I have not tried, I have not tried? All I do is tied, predispose to what is not going to be. It's like going to the hairdresser, said before entering the aesthetics, "Look, I cut my hair, but I know I'm going to be ugly, I am going to look bad, the color will look good on me, and I to be ridiculous. " It is absurd, no? So there is no reason to spend a dance for it.
"It's hard "------> All have said that phrase. All. That choreography, which for a step, which by a stroke. We see it run once and if it is complex, and we put the sign of a very difficult and debajito, the "not going to power." All things have their step by step, his technique, his trick. But first you have to try, try him before.
"I get no "-----> the friends go to class, go in the first month, and according to them, nothing comes out. It leaves them as the friend, it leaves them as the teacher, it leaves them in the video. And by the way, are the other two posters debajito: very difficult and I can not. If God be God, it took 7 days to make the world, why are we a step we have to go out instantly? All things take time and need of will and practice. So we have learned most of the activities why the dance has to be differently? The great dancers practice 8 hours a day, and you want that 5 minutes will be perfect? Then let's see dance as a challenge and enjoy the path that takes you on those spaces where you do to practice and improve your moves. The reward at the end feels wonderful ....
Here is the schedule of classes, to share with their friends and encourage them to leave behind a cloudy day with beautiful melodies and prepare to receive the spring and summer approaching. They have no arguments, no excuses, I look fondly.
